We’ve invited a number of interior design practices to design their own unique furniture range and have selected a piece from each of the collections to develop. The collection designs and prototypes will be exhibited in our showroom at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour.
From first sketches, development and choosing unique materials, you’ll be able to follow the whole journey of making a bespoke piece of furniture.
Enjoy a fresh coffee and croissant and join Gemma Allman, director of Decca London, for a talk on our extensive variety of bespoke finishes that Decca can achieve.
The highlight of Focus/16 will be the unveiling of the ‘Bespoke By Decca’ entries. Join us for drinks and you’ll be able to hear from those taking part as they discuss their inspiration and how they found the development process. We’ll be exhibiting their designs and prototypes, and offer you the chance to vote for your favourite collection.
Come and explore the whole creative process of making bespoke furniture and see our extensive finish library display.
If you have any questions about our events or simply want to let us know you’re coming please email Marketa at: firstname.lastname@example.org
All visitors to our showroom (and website) will be able to vote for their favourite collection from the first day of Focus/16 until the end of September (18th - 30th September 2016). The three collections with the most votes will then be presented to our judges, with the winning collection going into production. This collection will be on display in our showroom for London Design Week in March 2017.
The Bespoke By Decca judges are experienced industry professionals who will ensure a balanced range of views in the selection process for the finalists and winners. Please see more about them below:
